The EJS Center welcomes its new Director of Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, Cynthia Appenteng

The EJS Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Cynthia Appenteng as its new Director of Partnerships and Resource Mobilization.

 Ms. Appenteng brings a wealth of expertise working with high-level national and international organizations on developing partnerships and fundraising strategies. Throughout her professional journey, she has built strong working relationships across the African continent with development partners, donors, and multilateral organizations. 

Passionate about advancing women’s representation in public leadership in Africa, Ms. Appenteng is eager to secure the partnerships that allow the EJS Center to drive its mission forward:

“I am clear in my outlook that the change we all wish to see in this space will come incrementally through relentless and persistent efforts in addressing the barriers women leaders face, as well as in working with champions and ambassadors who support and advocate for our cause.”  

Ms. Appenteng is a strong believer in the potential of African women, and wishes to see many rise to high leadership roles.

“I want to see greater numbers of African women leaders rising to take on high leadership positions.”
